Redesign & Stage!

Sublime worked with the client to provide an elegant dining room that would blend with the rest of her decor.  The cream covers on the chairs were an inexpensive method for helping this room to blend and transition to the client's other rooms which tended to be full of her love of light colors.  Animal print chandelier lamp shades provided weight and interest to balance the warmth of the wood table.  The mirror was hung so that the chandelier could be reflected.

Mats and napkins pick up the colors of the rug, and the tray ceiling is painted a rich bronze to set off the room. 

On right--Use what you have...

We used the client's own things and she added new pieces over time.  The curio was mounted over the small buffet to provide much needed height in the room.  The lamp also provides the height required in the corner.  A twisted vine was wrapped around the lamp to provide the visual volume needed for it's small base.  It also served to soften the display and link the two pieces.  The twists and turns of the candlesticks mimic the feel of the wine rack and provide texture and balance to the setting.

Redesign! 

Let us help you use what you have and we can rearrange the things you love. We took this mirror from an entrance foyer in the former residence and placed it over an unslightly electrical panel in the kitchen of the new home for a brand new feel.

Grimy kids hands hold no power! An old sofa was slipcovered in cream damask so it can be removed for frequent washings.  Large pillows are blanketed in a soft paisley quilted rose fabric. Smaller pillows rest on an additional animal print that envelopes the seat cusion and adds warmth, pattern, and additional protection for an active child.
